Overview

Between 2009-2012, Herroom.com partnered with Icavia as a long term service vendor in support of their pair multi-million dollar e-commerce properties, Herroom.com and Hisroom.com. I was responsible for overseeing the general architecture, roadmap, projects, deployments, development efforts, and our team of programmers. We were able to modernize many areas of the system, including:

• Migration of code base from legacy Windows 2000 servers to Windows 2008 R2
• Addition of a load balancer to help scale, as well as application compliancy for a load-balanced environment
• Addition of modern AJAX functionality for menus, autocomplete search, and product detail views
• Introduced source control plan and deployment process

The application and its infrastructure supported annual sales of $10 million.
